April 1966 LW bought his first lathe! The seed for LW &T was sown when LW bought A Myford ML7 and set it up in his garage.
Soon he was progressing to more complex requests and so he made a vertical drill attachment which was fitted to the lathe

The first workshop in Waterlooville! Soon as his workload increased he had to look for a bigger place and so the move was made to Aston Road, Waterlooville

Turning in the 1960's! 

1960's and LWT was a hive of activity! A number of manual milling machines at work.

Then 1970 saw the purchase of their first milling machine! Manual adjustment and work continued to grow.

Inspection and accuracy was all carried out using gauges, micrometers and verniers!

Always keeping ahead of the competition 1980 saw the arrival of the first CNC Mill in the area! 

In October 1988 the first Mazak arrived in the area! Then as now LW & T makes use of the latest innovations in machining technology
